SYnopsis
An alien consciousness named Vel who is sent to Earth to spy on one of its own kind. Landing in Los Angeles, Vel inhabits the body, or “husk,” of a Black woman. While Vel’s target weaves a web of intrigue, she struggles with the extremes of human existence.
